These are application-specific terms for Takhtehnar. They are issued under Section 30 of the Vorvano Terms of Service and are read together with them and with the Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in those Terms.
About this supplement
Effective 25 August 2026. This supplement applies to the Takhtehnar application for iPhone and is issued under Section 30 (Entire agreement; order of precedence) of the Vorvano LLC Terms of Service, as amended on 25 August 2026 to carve Takhtehnar out of their adult-age requirement. Under that section, an application-specific term controls over the master Terms as to the application it governs. For Takhtehnar, therefore, this supplement governs where it differs from the master Terms, and everything it does not address is governed by the master Terms unchanged.
The reason this document exists is that Takhtehnar is unlike the rest of the Service in the two respects the master Terms are mostly concerned with: it sends nothing anywhere, and it sells nothing. A number of provisions written for applications that carry your content to our servers, or that take payment, have nothing to operate on here, and it is clearer to say so than to leave you to work out which parts apply.
1. What Takhtehnar is
Takhtehnar is a single-player backgammon game for iPhone with an analysis engine that runs on your device and scores the moves you play. It is a game and a practice tool. It is available in English and Persian (فارسی), requires iOS 17 or later, and is provided free of charge.
Nothing in it is wagering or gambling, and it provides no facility for playing for money or for anything of value. It contains no chips, no virtual currency, no purchases and no advertising. Nothing in it is professional advice of any kind.
2. Age & eligibility
Section 2 of the master Terms, which requires you to be at least 18, does not apply to Takhtehnar. Takhtehnar is rated for all ages and may be used by a person of any age. This is the one substantive departure this supplement makes from the master Terms, and it is made deliberately: the adult-age requirement exists because the rest of the Service forms an account with us, receives content you submit, processes it with artificial intelligence, and can take payment. Takhtehnar does none of those things. There is no account with Vorvano to open, nothing is transmitted to us, nothing is sold, and no feature depends on a user having the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
Where the user is a minor, this supplement is accepted on the minor's behalf by the parent or guardian who permits the application to be installed and used, and that parent or guardian is responsible for their use of it. Downloading through the App Store is itself subject to Apple's terms and to any Family Sharing, Screen Time or purchase controls the account holder has configured.
Because Takhtehnar transmits nothing, Vorvano receives no personal information from any user of it, of any age. The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) governs the online collection of personal information from children under 13; no collection occurs here, online or otherwise. Anything the application saves — including a display name or an email address typed into a local profile — is written to the device and stays there. It is not an account, it is not registered with us, no message is ever sent to it, and we never receive it. The corresponding carve-out in the Privacy Policy is in its Children section.
3. Offline application; no data transmission
Takhtehnar operates entirely on your device. It makes no network connection and transmits no data to Vorvano or to anyone else. It contains no third-party code, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising, and it requests no system permission of any kind.
Accordingly, Sections 6 and 10 of the master Terms — the licence you grant in content you submit, and the monitoring and recording-consent provisions — do not apply to Takhtehnar. They are not waived or narrowed; they simply have nothing to operate on, because no content or submission of yours ever reaches us. For the same reason, the provisions of the Privacy Policy concerned with the use of your content to train artificial-intelligence models, and with audio, voice and biometrics, do not describe Takhtehnar.
4. Local profiles
A Takhtehnar “account” is a local profile stored only on your device. No password exists, and no credential is created, checked or stored. Section 7 of the master Terms (Accounts & Security) applies only to the extent of the security of your own device: there is no Vorvano credential to protect, and no sign-in that could be compromised.
You can remove it at any time, from inside the application and without any request to us. Profile → Delete account removes the profile and every stored match; Settings → History → Clear match history removes the matches and keeps the profile; and deleting the application removes everything. Your settings, matches and profile are included in your device backup, so a backup made before deletion may still contain them until that backup is itself replaced or removed — that copy is made by Apple at your direction, and is not accessible to us.
5. Purchases
Takhtehnar contains no purchases, no subscriptions, no chips and no virtual currency. Section 19 of the master Terms (Fees, Billing, Subscriptions & Refunds) does not apply to it, there being nothing sold and therefore nothing to bill or refund. Should that ever change, it will be disclosed clearly before anything is charged, and this supplement will be updated before it takes effect rather than afterwards.
The application is downloaded through the Apple App Store, and Apple's terms govern that download, as Section 22 of the master Terms provides.
6. Engine output
Section 9 of the master Terms (artificial intelligence and automated features) applies to Takhtehnar, with the qualification that its engine runs on your device rather than on ours and reaches no third-party provider.
The engine's evaluations — equity figures, move ratings and win probabilities — are statistical estimates produced by neural networks bundled inside the application. They are provided for practice and entertainment. They can be wrong, they score the decision rather than the outcome, and they are not advice of any kind. Nothing produced by the engine should be relied upon for any purpose beyond playing and studying the game.
7. Apple as third-party beneficiary
As the App Store agreements require: this supplement is concluded between you and Vorvano LLC only, and not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for Takhtehnar. Apple is not responsible for any product claims relating to it, for any claim that it fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, for any third-party claim that it infringes intellectual-property rights, or for addressing any such claim.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this supplement, and upon your acceptance of it Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce it against you as a third-party beneficiary. This is the exception contemplated by Section 30 of the master Terms, which otherwise provides that there are no third-party beneficiaries.
